Connecting Playbook/BB10/BBOS devices using Wi-Fi or Cable:
IMP : Firewalls can block the software on system.make sure that you either turn off the firewall temporarily or add SyncMyiTunes.exe as an exception to your firewall.

Step 1:
Making Wi-Fi connection :
In order to connect via Wi-Fi,your PC and Playbook/BB10/BBOS device should be connected to same Router using Wi-Fi.Make sure that your Playbook's Wi-Fi is on and it is showing that it is connected to the Network.You can see the status by tapping on the Wi-Fi icon of your Playbook.The best check will to make sure that you can browse internet on both your Playbook and PC using the same router connection.
Making a cable connection :
Setting up a cable connection is far easier than setting up Wi-Fi.You just have to connect Playbook or BB10 device using USB cable.Once the connection is made,you will get a message on your Playbook saying that the Playbook has beeen connected to the PC.
Note : make sure that you have all necessary drivers of Playbook installed on your system that are required for the connectivity.
**** Cable connection is not supported for BBOS 5,6 and 7 based mobile phones.It is only supported for Playbook and BB10 mobiles e.g. Z10 and Q10.
Step 2: Open Sync My iTunes on your Playbook.Click on "Connect & Sync Button" as shown below :
For BBOS based devices,following screen appears.Click on Connect & Sync :
Step 3: It will ask you to enter the IP address of your PC as shown in the image below.
For BBOS based devices,the software scans the available devices automatically and detects if one is available.
If it could not connect to any computer,it will ask to enter the IP address manually.
Step 4: To get the IP address of your PC, right click on the tray icon and click on "IP Address of the system" as shown below :
Step 5: You will get the screen below.It shows all possible IP addresses your PC can have.Try them one by one unless your Playbook software connects successfully :
Step 6 : Once the connection is successful,the Sync will start automatically(Remember you have setup sync on your PC/Laptop/Computer in early stages of this tutorial.)
