Connecting Playbook using Wi-Fi or Cable:

 

IMP : Firewalls can block the software on system.make sure that you either turn off the firewall temporarily or add PrintMyFiles.exe as an exception to your firewall.

 

Note : If you get error message "Restart server & client and reconnect" then please right click on the tray icon of Print My Files and click on exit.After this start Print My Files again.

Wi-Fi :  

 

Step 1:

Making Wi-Fi connection :

In order to connect via Wi-Fi,your PC and Playbook should be connected to same Router using Wi-Fi.Make sure that your Playbook's Wi-Fi is on and it is showing that it is connected to the Network.You can see the status by tapping on the Wi-Fi icon of your Playbook.The best check will to make sure that you can browse internet on both your Playbook and PC using the same router connection(same Wi-Fi network connection).

 

Making a cable connection :

Setting up a cable connection is far easier than setting up Wi-Fi.You just have to connect Playbook using USB cable.Once the connection is made,you will get a message on your Playbook saying that the Playbook has beeen connected to the PC.

Note : make sure that you have all necessary drivers of Playbook installed on your system that are required for the connectivity.

 

Step 2: Open Print My Files on your Playbook.Add the files using "Add to list" button.Once the files are added,Click on "Print Selected/Print All" as shown below :

Note : In order to print selected items,please tap on the file names.Once selected,the selected files will appear in Blue color.

 

Step 3: It will ask you to enter the IP address of your PC as shown in the image below.(You can use "Change IP Address" button to change the IP address later if required.)

 

Step 4: To get the IP address of your PC, right click on the tray icon and click on "IP Address of the system" as shown below :

 

Step 5:  You will get the screen below.It shows all possible IP addresses your PC can have.Try them one by one unless your Playbook software connects successfully :

 

Step 6 : Once the connection is successful,the Print will start automatically(Remember you have done setup on your PC/Laptop/Computer in early stages of this tutorial.)
